Problem:
The town of Muret, located in the Haute-Garonne region of France, is home to a large aquatic center called Aqualudia, the biggest complex for water sports and aquatic games in the area.
Close by, the local municipality operated a sewage pumping station that had become a source of concern for both locals and visitors—especially given its proximity to the popular family destination. The primary issue was the persistent noise and odors, which
significantly impacted the overall experience at the water park.
The municipality required a solution to eliminate noise and odors, enhancing the environment for all visitors.
Solution:
Two OverWatch® systems were installed next to one another, specifically designed to handle a flow rate of 7,400 gpm at a head of 74.8 m (246 ft), ensuring optimal performance for the sewage pumping station.
Since installation, both the operators and the municipality have been thrilled with the results. The OverWatch® system has effectively eliminated odor and noise concerns, significantly improving the experience for both residents and visitors. As a result, Aqualudia has become a much more enjoyable destination, free from the disruptions caused by the previous pumping station.
